Welp! Today I discovered that songs from my 2013 album are available to be used in your TikTok videos. It seems the excerpts used mainly feature guitarist Neal Alger’s excellent playing and not my singing, and that’s as it should be. He’s great.
I wrote original songs, performed and recorded for only 10 years. I’m no longer a musician and have no desire to take it up again, but in 2013 I thought it might be worth it to pull some recordings together and make my music commercially available (it’s on Apple Music and Spotify).
That album has made almost no money, but this shows that it could still make a big splash as part of some crazy future social media phenomenon that hasn’t even been invented yet, probably long after I’m dead.
