For some reason, there hasn’t been much promotion of the IRS’s Get My Payment page where you can enter your bank info and get your stimulus check by direct deposit.
But I might warn you that after you enter your home address and your adjusted gross income for 2019, it asks if you received a refund for 2019 or if you owed money. Then it wants you to enter the amount you owe.
Is it possible that people who owe the IRS money won’t get stimulus checks? I don’t know, but I hope not! Different parts of the government don’t always talk to each other, so I’m hoping that’s not true, but who trusts the Idiota administration not to stiff the people who need the stimulus checks the most?
So that’s the Get My Payment tool. If anyone uses it, please let me know how it goes!
