You're certainly living up to your tag line "willing to discuss what other people won't". Good for you.

On the actual topic, it's sad that peole run into such judgmental attitudes from others, even strangers. Free the Nipple at least allows some method to bring about change.

Uh, thanks Rhonda. I'm not sure making men wear bras, too, is moving in the right direction…or is it?

I have not quite reached middle age yet I frequently go braless. I don't do this to send a message I just prefer not to wear one. However, I am one of the women on the smaller side so it is not as noticeable when I skip wearing one.

However, I am one of the people that notice when other women don't wear one especially when they are large and pendulous. I tend to think they should wear a bra at all times. The good news is I think outside the box and believe that men with large breast should also wear a bra. I'm just saying.

As a fan of nipples, I agree with this post.

An interesting post. Why shouldn't middle-aged and older women not wear bras? It really surprises me about the attitudes people still have about women's breasts being taboo.

I saw a TV programme last week called Storage Hunters (a friend was watching it – I have never been a fan of reality TV) that featured a fairly old painting of a topless woman – the programme makers completely censored her breasts.

The edition of Storage Hunters also had bleeped-out swearing, the word was only "shit", but when it was said, it wasn't just bleeped out, but the people's mouths were also digitally censored!

In Britain, TV programmes aren't as cautious about censoring swearing like American programmes.
