I asked each resident, “Are you supporting the Democratic ticket this year?” If they said, “Yes,” then I talked to them about voting absentee. Voting absentee creates a better paper trail of your vote, makes SURE your vote is counted, and gets voting out of the way in case you get busy on Election Day. It’s the best way to get votes for Kerry.
But if they answered my question with, “No,” I had a bizarre urge to say, “Oh…okay…well, then…do you want to make out?”
